The Flash stood outside the walls to Arkham City. Those were some big walls. Thick walls. He stared at the stone for a moment, just thinking of all the good reasons why there was such a need for them. Well, so the criminals couldn't get out. They couldn't shoot through them, couldn't just break through them. Someone would be able to notice a group of prisoners trying to bust their way through. Granted, this was a pretty big place so it would be hard to monitor it all.
That was part of the reason why Wally wanted to check it out. He could bypass the getting in part by phasing through the wall, but was that such a smart idea? Probably not. He didn't know what was on the other side and he didn't want to give the bad guys ideas. While they might not be able to move like he could, some of these guys might actually have some smarts under all that crazy.
That was a worrisome thought.
So, the scarlet speedster stood there, just staring at the wall. He would have to do something about this soon. He was too curious not to go in, but he was trying to be smart about it. Super-speed was great and all, but he had to really think about things too. Despite what Batman might think, he did have a good mind behind all the jokes.

Karen started to woke up by the alarm she put in her mobile. It was a little hard to keep her eyes open as she spend a very rough night. The place she chose to sleep, inside an old pipe, was a little uncomfortable and made her miss so much her toy bed in her dollhouse back in Oolong Island. She spend her first night in Arkham City and survived the experience. She then looked at her phone and see surprised that it had a lot of lost calls. "Rita must be very pissed with me"said Karen as she saw that all the calls were Rita's, aka Elastiwoman. She knew that not only her would be angry with Bumblebee, the Chief is the kind of egocentric bastard that dislikes that people dissobeys him. He was the boss of the team, not the boss of her life. She was free to do what she wanted, and right now she wanted to find her ex-husband, she would come later with the Doom Patrol, but like hell she was gonna apologize for following her hearth.
She then took one of the pills the Chief developed so she wouldn't suffer a cardiac arrest for her current size. It tasted awfull, but all medicines were awfull right?. "I should start looking for food. Luckily I don't need too much"said to herself with a grin as she left the pipe and started to fly around. The advantage of a tiny size was that she didn't need large amounts of food, she was following the model's dream diet. She should left Arkham City to find some decent food, but that wasn't a problem for her. She could use air conducts or other places, tiny for the common criminals and poor inocents trapped here, but for the perfect size for Bumblebee. She still couldn't get who thought that Arkham City was a great idea.
Soon she left Arkham City and prepared herself to look for food in Gotham, something captivated her attention. It was the figure of a man dressed in a scarlet costume. She smile as she recognized Wally West, the current Flash. It was good to see him again, especially a very friendly face as they worked together. Maybe with his speed he can help her find Mal. He was looking at the wall and didn't realize that Karen was looking him. She had avery mischevous idea. She flew towards him and stay behind his back. "So then Batman grounds you to stare at the wall for stealing his cookies right? Boy you are hopeless"said with a big grin in her face.

The Flash let his shoulders slump. This thinking thing wasn't getting him far. He just didn't have the patience for it. While he could do complex science, this was just annoying. With a sigh, he let his head hang, still wondering if he should bother trying to get in. No, not trying. If he should really think of all the risks and consequences. When did he ever really think about all that. He knew his own cities, he knew what to expect and had grown accustomed to doing things a certain way.
Gotham was a different animal entirely. There were fewer rules here. The villains cared nothing for anyone's skin but their own. He hadn't heard of them ever having teamed up successfully either. So, why was he really thinking this through. It wasn't like they would conduct themselves in anyway close to what he had grown so used to.
Lifting his head, he frowned at the wall. Wally was ready to get going and actually explore the monstrosity. Then someone spoke to him. Someone that knew that Batman was a jerk and knew how to make fun of him. He frowned harder. Ya know, that's a --- He let his words fade as he twisted to look at the person.
There was no one there. He didn't see a single person standing behind him that would address him. He faced the wall again, a confused look on his face. This place is rubbing off on me all ready, He murmured. He was going insane and he hadn't been here for all that long. Damn, this place worked fast.
Still, the red head didn't want to believe that. He turned around completely. Well, that explained why a small twist hadn't shown him anyone. Green eyes finally saw Bumblebee, a hero small enough to escape pretty much everyone's notice if she so chose. I don't want the gloom cloud's cookies. They're probably stale and boring like him, He sneered with a bright smile. Look at that. It seemed the Titan team was starting to regroup in Gotham. You see any of the other Titans runnin' around? He asked, wondering just how many were heading here. Maybe they could throw a party and annoy old Batty even more.

Karen was doing her best to contain her laugh. She wished that Wally could see his face surprised to see no one when she teased him and he turn around. She felt proud of herself. It was hard to make a joke to Wally West, the King of the Jokes back when they were in the Titans. She was sure he was still making jokes in the Justice League. She was sure that Wally will try to revenge on her once he found out. But the price was worth to see his face and hearing him surprised. Maybe she should keep teasing him...nahhh. She wasn't that bad.
Then she saw how he turned around completely again and then this time he was able to find her. "Hard to believe you don't want the bat's cookies, Boy. Especially as I remember seeing you eat the weirdest combinations and recipes without blinking"said Karen chuckling and raising an eyebrow. She remembered when he ate spaguetti and a hawaian pizza once at the same time. She shudered by the memory."Nahhh. You are the first familiar face I see since I arrived here yesterday. Inside there is pure mayhem"said Karen pointing to Arkham City. Maybe other Titans were coming here too, hearing the current crisis, it would be good to see a lot of her former friends. "So, how are you? And Linda? You can see that I lost a little of weight since last time we met"said Karen joking about her current condition. If you can't make a little fun of yourself, then you wont know how to live. Although she hoped that Wally wouldn't tease her that much with that subject.

Wally raised a brow at Karen, shaking his head. Yeah, he had been one of those really weird teenagers that had eaten everything. Granted, his case was probably more extreme than others considering his condition. He had needed to eat because his metabolism ran on super-high mode constantly. His own body would have eaten itself to try to compensate for his speed. However, the days of eating marshmallows and meatballs had long since passed.
Linda won't let me eat like that anymore, He said with a laugh. Gotta eat right for the kids. It was hardly a loss. He would eat the healthiest foods there was for his family. Hell, he had bought organic stuff just to see how big a difference there was. It was worth it for the health and happiness of his family.
Hell, he would eat broccoli for his friends, too. You should get around more, Bee. Nightwing's running around, back to his old habits, He said with a shrug. Their fearless leader was riding around the Big Bat's turf again and most likely catching crap for letting so many other heroes into Gotham. This was a one family place and the Bats were supposed to have full reign. Oops, oh well. Pissing off the Bat had always been a favorite hobby of his.
He shifted on his feet, looking at the small heroine. You need to come over for dinner. Linda would insist on feeding you more, He said with a laugh. While Karen's small stature was no laughing matter, Wally needed to make jokes, especially when it was started by someone else. What have you been up to? The speedster asked, walking toward the sidewalk and taking a seat. He motioned for the striped women to join him, willing to take a break from thinking so hard.
